Hi Ayuwat,
I’ve been reading your blog. It is perhaps the best one that I have ever read, Very informative and full of information with great photos. I’ve just come back from NW Thailand and know all the places that you are talking about. Doi Lang is a superb place.
Many Thanks…..
Tony Broome (UK)
Thanks so much Tony for such encouraging words. Well appreciated! 😀
Aloha from Hawaii, your three articles on the leaf warbler complex are super, I am going to Thailand for the first time in January, is it possible to get these three articles as a .pdf or some other form I can put on my iPad to have in Thailand.
Hi Reginald,
Sorry, I don’t have them in pdf… Maybe you can save them as screenshots instead?
Dear Khun Ayuwat,
My Boss lives in UK, he is interested your pictures. I am not sure would you sell this picture. Please feel free to let me know ka.
Best wishes,
Jitlada
Hi Ayuwat,
My name is Eric and I am 10 years old. I am going to upgrading my lens soon but I am not sure which one I want to buy and I just wanted to know what lens you use. I tried to find out in the Macaulay library, but all the photos say Original file size 1066KB Dimensions 1500 x 1000.
Many thanks,
Eric
Hi Ayuwat,
Many thanks for your ‘identification of harriers in Thailand’ posting – most helpful. In late 2021 I moved to live near the Lahan wetland in Chaiyaphum province and have been keeping records of the bird species seen around the lake. While the likes of Brahminy and Black Shouldered kites are relatively easy to identify other raptors, such as harriers and accipiters, can be more problematic. Based upon your post i think i am also seeing mainly Eastern Marsh Harriers but will continue to check!
Keep up the good work!
Best wishes.
John.
Thanks so much, John! Glad to hear from you. Hope you’re enjoying birding in Lahan area. I still haven’t been there but it surely has a lot of potentials for rarities!
